Pre-launch status
Tunisia Curated is currently a password-gated pre-launch project. No public checkout or payment processor is enabled. The final legal operator, business address, governing law, dispute forum and language-precedence rule will be completed before the site becomes public and before paid checkout is enabled. These Terms therefore describe the current site boundaries and enquiry-stage services without pretending that the final contracting structure is already fixed.
About these Terms
These Terms govern your use of tunisiacurated.com and the current Tunisia Curated information, planning tools and enquiry flows. By using the site, you agree to these Terms.
During the pre-launch period, Tunisia Curated is being presented as a project rather than as a final public contracting entity. The final operator identity and business address will be stated before public launch and before any paid checkout is enabled.
What Tunisia Curated is
Tunisia Curated is a route-confidence and travel-guidance platform for people exploring Tunisia independently. We help travellers think through bases, route logic, pace, movement, timing, practical questions and, where offered, a level of support around the trip.
Tunisia Curated is not a package tour. We do not currently act as a travel agency that books your hotel, driver, guide, activity or other third-party service on your behalf unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.
Information can change
We aim to provide thoughtful and useful guidance, but travel conditions change. Transport schedules, openings, prices, access, weather, local conditions, availability, entry rules and other practical details may change after publication or after we last checked them.
You should verify time-sensitive or high-consequence information with the relevant official or primary source before relying on it. Government, immigration, health, security, transport-provider and emergency information takes priority over general Tunisia Curated guidance.
We do not guarantee that every route suggestion, recommendation, local input or third-party detail will remain accurate, available or suitable for every traveller.
Trip Check
The current site describes Trip Check as a human review of your actual bases, timing, movement and transport before you lock the route, currently shown at €24.
Submitting a Trip Check request is an enquiry only. The current selector states that no payment is required at request time. A request does not by itself create a paid booking or guarantee acceptance or availability.
Tunisia Companion
The current site describes Tunisia Companion as Tunisia Curated support during the active trip for route changes, transport problems, local checks and practical next steps, currently shown from €119. The public site says the core support usually covers an active trip of up to seven travel days; longer trips or more hands-on support are discussed separately before anything extra is added.
Companion is practical travel support, not emergency support. It does not promise unlimited messaging, 24/7 availability, instant response or a continuously available private local contact. The current Contact wording also provides no fixed reply deadline.
Requests, payment and availability
The current site has no public checkout/payment processor. Unless a later checkout or written confirmation expressly says otherwise, sending an email capture, Trip Check, Companion, Atlas or Contact request does not take payment and does not create a confirmed paid service.
Before a paid service begins, we may need to confirm availability, timing, scope, price and any service-specific conditions. Any paid service will be subject to the terms presented or confirmed before you are bound.
Cancellations, changes and refunds
The current public site does not publish fixed cancellation, refund or chargeback rules. We therefore do not invent those percentages or deadlines in these Terms.
Before we accept payment for a paid service, the applicable cancellation, rescheduling and refund conditions must be shown or confirmed to you. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Third-party providers and bookings
Where useful, Tunisia Curated may point you toward a driver, guide, operator, rental option, hotel, restaurant, activity provider or another third party. Unless we expressly state otherwise, you choose and book with that provider directly.
Third-party providers are separate from Tunisia Curated and are responsible for their own availability, pricing, licensing, insurance, terms, cancellation rules and performance. Tunisia Curated does not become the operator of a third-party service merely because we mention, introduce or provide context about it.
People who provide local knowledge to Tunisia Curated are not automatically approved service providers. Contributor and provider roles are separate.
Local knowledge and editorial independence
Tunisia Curated may combine its own research with input from selected local contributors and other sources. Contributors may be paid for useful commissioned knowledge. Payment does not buy a recommendation, ranking or placement.
Tunisia Curated reviews that input and remains responsible for what it presents as Tunisia Curated guidance. A commercial or strategic partner does not control our route judgment or recommendations merely because it works with Tunisia Curated.
Emergencies and professional advice
Tunisia Curated is not an emergency-response service. For medical, security or official emergencies, use the relevant official service and the emergency resources identified in the Before Tunisia section.
Tunisia Curated does not replace medical, legal, immigration, security or other regulated professional advice. Where a matter is high consequence, use the appropriate official or qualified professional source.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information when asking us to review a route, trip or travel situation.
- Check passports, visas, entry rules, insurance, health requirements and other official obligations that apply to you.
- Make your own booking and travel decisions, taking account of your circumstances, mobility, health, risk tolerance, budget and preferences.
- Use official or professional help for emergencies and other high-consequence matters.
- Treat Tunisia Curated staff, contributors and any third-party provider respectfully.
Acceptable use and intellectual property
You may use the site for personal travel planning and other lawful purposes. You must not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorised access, abuse forms, submit malicious content, impersonate another person or use automated extraction in a way that materially burdens the service or republishes substantial Tunisia Curated content/data as a competing product.
Unless otherwise stated, rights in the Tunisia Curated name, original written content, route structures, editorial selections, databases, graphics and site materials are reserved by Tunisia Curated and/or their respective licensors. You may use them for personal, non-commercial travel planning, but may not reproduce, sell, republish or commercially exploit substantial parts without permission except where law allows otherwise. The final legal rights-holder/operator details will be stated before public launch.
External links and platforms
The site may link to external services such as WhatsApp, Orange Travel, Instagram, YouTube, maps or other websites. Tunisia Curated does not control their availability, content, privacy practices or security. Your use of an external service is governed by that service’s own terms.
Liability and mandatory rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including rights and remedies that applicable consumer law does not allow us to waive.
Subject to those mandatory rights, Tunisia Curated is not responsible for loss caused solely by events outside our reasonable control, information that changed after a reasonable checking/publication point, your decision not to follow official instructions, or the independent acts or omissions of a third-party provider with whom you contract directly.
The liability terms for any future online paid checkout should be reviewed together with the final legal operator, governing law and consumer-service terms before that checkout goes live.
Privacy
Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal information collected through the site, forms, analytics and first-party measurement. It forms part of the legal information relevant to using Tunisia Curated.
Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these Terms as the website and services develop. The version posted on the site with its effective date applies to use from that date. Any separately confirmed paid service remains subject to the terms agreed for that service.
Because the final legal operating entity and consumer-contracting structure are not yet fixed, governing law and dispute forum are intentionally not stated in this pre-launch version. They will be published before the site becomes public and before any paid checkout is enabled, subject to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in a traveller’s country. The English and French versions are intended to be substantively aligned; any formal language-precedence rule will also be fixed before public launch.
